Michigan looks sharp and notches itsĀ fifth-straight win

Just by looking at the previous slides, you should have a pretty good idea about where I am going with this prediction, but in case you donā€™t see it, I will spell it out: Michigan is going to win this game going away.

After allowing 17 first-half points to Northwestern last week, the defense is going to come out on a mission. As long as Michigan football can stop the run, Maryland should have a tough time moving the ball. UM does give up some big plays in the passing game due to its aggressive style, but it remains to be seen if Kasim Hill can take advantage.

Hill, the Terps quarterback has just three touchdown passes coming in and hasnā€™t had to face a defense that can pressure the passer quite like UM. On the other side of the ball, Michigan should be able to establish its running game with Higdon, who will break off another big run or two, setting the stage for Patterson to take some shots down the field.

Ultimately, it feels like this is going to be a productive day for Michigan football and a game that should be decided early in the second half.

Over the last three years, UM has beaten Maryland by an average of 33 points and Saturday, it will do something similar, knocking off Maryland by a score of 45-13.
