Michigan Football: Predicting every Big Ten game for the Wolverines
The last couple of games have been somewhat boring for Michigan football, however, that all stops as Big Play begins. Here’s a pick of all nine games.
If you are a fan of Michigan football, then you know there is just something special about the Big Ten. Yes, there are 14 teams and the league now stretches from New Jersey to Nebraska, but the Big Ten is still the Big Ten.
And hey expansion hasn’t been all bad. It would have been better if a team like Notre Dame had joined instead of Rutgers, at least from a fans perspective. Yet, you can’t have everything and right now, the Big Ten, particularly the Big Ten East is looking pretty solid.
Ohio State just knocked off TCU in Dallas, announcing to everyone that the Buckeyes are as good as expected. Penn State and Michigan State have had struggles and so have the Wolverines, but all three teams still look like contenders. Wisconsin and Iowa do too in the West.
There is no doubt that last weekend was strange. Nebraska lost to Troy and Northwestern lost to Akron. Purdue lost to Missouri and the mighty Badgers lost at home to BYU.
All that means is the league is going to exciting and after games against Western Michigan and SMU, it will be nice for Michigan football to play games that really matter.
The stated goal of this team is winning a Big Ten championship and that quest starts this Saturday with Nebraska. In honor of that, here is a breakdown and prediction of all nine Big Ten games for UM starting the Huskers.
