Michigan Football: 5 predictions for the Wolverines 2018 season
Michigan football will win 11 games
At the end of the day, I believe this Michigan football team will have a really good season. The Wolverines won’t win every big game but they will win some and that’s important.
Michigan Wolverines
With Patterson playing quarterback, Michigan is good enough to beat just about any team in the country and if the schedule was more favorable, I’d give UM a much better chance of winning the Big Ten East.
If the Wolverines were getting the Buckeyes in the Big House, it could be a different story. Home-field advantage doesn’t mean everything and at some point, Michigan football will need to beat good teams on the road. I think it will Saturday at Notre Dame, but I won’t believe the Wolverines can beat this Ohio State team in Columbus until I see it.
However, I can see Michigan beating Sparty. I also believe they will beat Penn State and head into The Game with a 10-1 record. I predict a loss to Ohio State, a win in a major bowl game and a pretty high ranking in the final AP poll.
To me, that would be enough to call the 2018 season a success. Others may not feel the same but either way, in a few days, we can stop guessing about Michigan football and simply watch it.
