Moe Wagner showed everyone he was robbed of All Big-Ten

When the Big Ten postseason awards were announced, it was a crime that Moe Wagner was not named First-Team All Big-Ten. He was clearly a top-five player in the conference and you wonder if he used that as motivation this week.

If so, then Wagner ended up getting the last laugh. Not only did the Wolverines win the championship, he was also named MVP after averaging nearly16 points and seven rebounds per game.

In the second half against Purdue, he made two critical 3-pointers which pushed the lead to double figures. After that, the Boilermakers were just too far behind.

Wagner also stole the show against Nebraska, dominating the Huskers with 21 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks. The junior had 15 in the semifinals against Michigan State as well.

Of course, Wagner was far from the only standout player. Rahkman joined Wagner on the All-Tournament Team, while others such as Duncan Robinson and Simpson were outstanding.

Charles Matthews was another. His play, especially on defense was critically important. Simpson too. He held opposing point guards to 10-of-37 shooting. Carsen Edwards and Cassius Winston will have nightmares of him for some time.
