Michigan Football vs Minnesota: 3 bold predictions for the Wolverines
Kareem Walker has a breakout game in the Big House
Michigan football already had a pretty good stable of running backs before Kareem Walker came along last week against Rutgers. Yet, with Ty Isaac’s ability to play in doubt, Walker could be in line for a bigger role.
Walker carried the rock six times for 34 yards against Rutgers and scored a touchdown. The former No. 1 running back in the 2016 recruiting class also earned praise from Harbaugh earlier this week.
“Got the want to,” Harbaugh told MLive. “Got the passion for being out there and playing. That showed up in the ballgame, when he carried the football. You’ll see more of No. 6 as we go.”
Karan Hidgon is going to get most of the carries and Chris Evans will still get some. But I expect Walker to be impressive. I don’t want to guess what his final numbers will be, but I say he finds the end zone and breaks off a run or two that turns heads.
