Wow, what a revelation, huh? I got the sweetest hangover, I don’t wanna get over. Wouldn’t it be really sweet if Doc Brown was training a young guy – like maybe Chris Partridge, to take his place as the mad scientist in charge of making B1G OC’s lives miserable?

Mike McCray missed a few series at first – Devin Gil #36 seemed to be filling in for him and seemed to do fine. Mone did not play much – I chalk that up to a combination of the Texas heat and Florida speed. We used a lot of 3 man fronts with many LB/Safety types filling in and being quite flexible on their placement. It was scary unless you bleed Maize then it was just pure joy.

We gave up a couple big pass plays but I really don’t blame the secondary for that and definitely not the safeties. All the long passes that hit seemed to be on the sidelines. Under 200 total yards against a top 25 team is pretty damn good.
