Lakers are another team that makes sense

The Lakers are a team that is trying to move back into contention in the NBA and they are trying to do it fast. The team wants to make a run at LeBron James and Paul George. But to do so, they may need to trade some of their top assets.

One player that could be out of the door, is Julius Randle, a young power forward. The Lakers would probably love to keep him, but he is one of the few bargaining chips LA has to offer.

So when the Lakers pick No. 28 tonight, it wouldn’t shocking to see them take Wilson.

Wilson only averaged 5.3 rebounds per game last season and has room to grow in that area, which could help ease the loss of Randle, a rebounding machine.

Wilson also oozes potential. He played just one real season of college basketball and with some development, could be a starter down the road. His ability to protect the rim and score, especially from beyond the arc, would be good talents to pair with star players.

If Wilson is still on the board at No. 28, expect the Lakers to consider him strongly. And who knows, he could be playing alongside LeBron in a few years.
