Mo Wagner court declared for the NBA draft on April 10th, the smart thing to do for any college player who has a breakout season. Along with DJ Wilson, the front court of Michigan will test the professional waters. Despite that, neither signed an agent, giving them until May 24th to withdraw from the draft, meaning that hope remains. That will hardly be of comfort to the Michigan faithful looking at the attrition of four starters from a Sweet Sixteen team.

However, one of the joys of college sports is following alumni at the professional level. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Trey Burke are currently facing off in the Eastern Conference playoffs, with Hardaway playing a featured role for the Atlanta Hawks.

That’s to say, if Wagner and Wilson do leave, it will be exciting to watch their journey to the NBA. With that in mind, we begin a series looking at their pro prospects. First up, Mo Wagner.
