He isn’t given a whole lot of time

Think of the great things you hear about Peters—his numbers, his accuracy, so on and so forth. Now take into consideration the fact that he’s working behind an absolutely atrocious offensive line.

Remember how terrible Michigan’s offensive line was last season? Take that to the third or fourth power, and that’s what Peters has been working with.

What could he look like with actual protection? That’s left to the imagination. It really is a blessing that he’s 6-foot-5, because there wouldn’t be much of him left after a game if he was any smaller. (I’m only slightly exaggerating.)

It was mind-boggling sometimes to watch some of the things he was able to do while dodging this way and that for his life.

To see him arrive at Michigan and get an offensive line capable of allowing more time to make decisions—maybe that makes Peters that much better when the time comes.
