After three average seasons at Cincinnati, Dantonio became the Michigan State head coach. In his 8 years at the school the Spartans have only had one losing season and have never failed to make a bowl game. After losing their first four bowl appearances under Dantonio they have now won their last four. The Spartans have reached at least 11 wins in four of their last five seasons. Dantonio’s best season as head coach came in 2013 when MSU went 13-1 and won the Rose Bowl. He is 93-48 as a college head coach.
