5. Kirk Ferentz-

Ferentz has been the head coach at Iowa since 1999 and has done a tremendous job. After winning just four games in his first two years as coach, the Hawkeyes have only had two other losing seasons since then. Along the way Ferentz has led Iowa to two Big Ten titles and six bowl victories. The reason Ferentz is only at five is because Iowa hasn’t been quite as good the last five seasons as they were earlier in his tenure. Overall in his head coaching career, Ferentz is 127-106 (115-85 at Iowa).
