2. Branch Rickey-

Rickey did his undergraduate work elsewhere, but he earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from Michigan. He also served as the Michigan head baseball coach. After leaving Michigan, Rickey spent time in MLB as a player, manager and most notably, general manger. He did a lot for the game of baseball including bringing the use of statistical analysis to the game. His biggest achievement, however, was breaking the color barrier by signing Jackie Robinson. Rickey won four World Series as a GM and was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame in 1967.
