8. Desmond Howard

Howard played three years at Michigan and capped off his career with a Heisman Trophy in 1991. Howard was more than just a receiver as he also excelled as a return man. He is 12th all-time on the Michigan list in receptions, 12th in receiving yards, and third in receiving touchdowns. Howard then played in the NFL from 1992-2002 for five different teams. He was never able to have a lot of success at receiver, but was great as a return man. He was the MVP of Super Bowl XXXI because of his returning ability. Howard now works for ESPN as a College Football analyst, traveling with the ESPN College Gameday crew.
