10. Jim Harbaugh–
The new Michigan head football coach was famous well before he came back to Ann Arbor. He played quarterback at Michigan from 1983-86. As a senior he was named to the All-Big Ten first team and finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting. He moved on to the NFL where he played 14 seasons and started 140 career games. After his playing career was over, Harbaugh got into coaching. He compiled a 58-27 record at the college level with SDSU and Stanford before moving up to the NFL. Harbaugh was even more successful in the pros leading the 49ers to the NFC Title game in each of his first three seasons. In 2012 they went all the way to the Super Bowl before losing to Jim’s brother John and the Ravens. In fours seasons he went 44-19-1, but mutually agreed to part ways after this past season. Harbaugh is now tasked with turning around a slumping Michigan football program.
