11. Benny Friedman

Friedman played football at Michigan from 1924-26. He was a consensus two time All-American and excelled as both Michigan’s quarterback and kicker. Friedman then moved on to the NFL where he played for four different teams, and was named a first team All-Pro four times. He was the NFL’s first great passing quarterback and threw 20 touchdown passes in 1929. He is a member of both the College Football and Pro Football Hall of Fame.
