6. Michael Phelps–
Phelps never swam for Michigan and didn’t graduate from the school, but he did attend the University. His swim coach, Bob Bowman, became the Michigan head swim coach in 2004 and Phelps followed him there. He trained at the school, attended some classes, and served as an assistant swim coach. As a swimmer Phelps has set 39 world records (with seven of them still standing). Phelps is the most decorated Olympian ever with 18 Gold Medals, two Silver Medals, and two Bronze Medals. He appeared in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 summer games.
