5. Wide Receiver-

Amara Darboh is the clear cut number one receiver on the roster, but after him things get a little murky. Jehu Chesson has the inside track to be the other starter, but that’s not a guarantee. He is a great blocker on the outside and has shown some flashes catching the football, but he it hasn’t been enough to make anyone confident he can be the secondary target. Redshirt freshman Maurice Ways and sophomore Jaron Dukes both have the size and talent to be a starter, but neither has any game experience at the college level.

The favorite in the slot is Freddy Canteen who had five catches, 22 yards receiving, and a touchdown last season. His main competition is true freshman Brian Cole and veteran Bo Dever. Cole has a ton of ability, but his inexperience could be his downfall.
