Michigan Wolverine Football: Harbaugh Recruiting so far
This post is not about grading how Coach Harbaugh and staffing are recruiting. What I want to do is look at the signed and commitments they have received and make some observations. Not including those who committed to previous regime.

1.) Two Quarterbacks: Couple of thoughts.
We all have witnessed what poor quarterback play can do to a program. Upgrading the most important position on the field was a must. It is the type of quarterback that interest me, because that gives us an idea the type of offense and team Coach Jim Harbaugh wants to build.
Both are tall (Brandon Peters and Zach Gentry), with plus arms, and are very good overall athletes. Looks to me like we will see a pro style passing game with just enough quarterback running to keep defenses honest.

2.) Two Running Backs have been taken.
Both have a similar style of running. Both are well built who specialize in running between the tackles, Both break tackles and have a physical nature to them. Neither is world class sprinter, but both have enough speed to be a long threat.
Appears that Coach Jim Harbaugh wants a power running game that forces defenses to commit extra defenders to the box. Which will open up the passing lanes and play action game.
3.) 3 Defensive Ends:
Who are the long and rangy body types who also show good athletic ability and speed. Building a defense that gets to the quarterback, but also sets and hold the edge.

4.) With the exception of two players they have good size for their position or have the frame to be big for their position. Building a big, physical team that can wear opponents out. Not saying we are going to be a bunch of turtles. Speed will also come, but getting this roster up to major college size is obviously a priority. And a welcome one (IMO).
5.) This is my personal favorite, there are quality character kids who are potential team captains.
If you research are newest Wolverines you read things like first in the weight room and last out. Read that about David Reese and Kingston Davis. Players like Grant Perry and Nolan Ulizio who might not be 5* athletes, but have 5* character and attitudes that will hold everyone accountable.
Think that about it for now. Will be fun to see how this plays out.
If you have anything to add feel free and interested to hear what others are seeing.
