Dwayne Haskins Jr., a 2016 prospect from Potomac, Maryland and plays for Bullis high school and has interest in Michigan.

He has been offered by the current Michigan coaching staff (he was offered by Coach Hoke as well) and has already built up quite the offer list with over 35 offers from just about every big-time college program out there. Really seems to like Ohio State and Notre Dame right now along with the local area teams of Rutgers and Maryland.

A very good pro style quarterback who is very athletic and accurate when throwing the football.

Talking with Rivals, “I haven’t gone for a game at Notre Dame, I went in the summer and I want to get back for a junior day or whatever else they’re going to have out there,” Haskins said. “I like coach (Brian) Kelly and coach (Matt) LaFleur.

“They do a really good job spreading the ball around. I like what they’re doing with the quarterbacks and how they get them on the move.”

CoachBT’s Comments:
Dwayne Haskins Jr. has lots of skill and plenty of arm. Does need to work on his touch passes and has a habit of zipping everything he throws. We also believe that Michigan is behind at this time in his recruitment.

  • The 2016 recruiting class will be a lot bigger than the previous couple years of recruiting at Michigan which will be a good thing for Jim Harbaugh and staff to start bringing in their own players that they want to build around this Michigan program. As of right now we have a total of 18 scholarships that will likely be handed out to the 2016 recruiting class, but we imagen this number will gradually go up with players transferring or deciding to leave Michigan.

So far, the 2016 recruiting class has Erik Swenson (OL) and Dele Harding (LB) in the class.
