Michigan Wolverine Recruiting: Damon Arnette Visited by Harbaugh
Damon Arnette got a visit yesterday not only by Jim Harbaugh, but also defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin, and defensive line coach Greg Mattison. Arnette who is a South Carolina commit for the 2015 recruiting class took a visit last weekend to Michigan and got a follow up with the coaches last night.

The Michigan coaches have only been on the scene for a short period of time, but they are racking up some serious frequent flyer miles as we gear down to national signing day the first Wednesday in February.
He is planning on visiting his committed school (South Carolina) this week and then follow it up with Ohio State the following weekend or the last weekend before the February 4th signing day.
Arnette is rated by the recruiting services as only a 3-star prospect, but don’t let that fool you especially when you have nearly twenty programs such as Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Wisconsin offer him. Would bet that the recruiting services might have messed this one up, but we will find out who is right in 4-5 years the recruiting services or the coaches.

Damon Arnette was really impressed with his visit last weekend to Michigan along with hanging with many of the players including Jabrill Peppers who told him no matter what happens at a place like Michigan you can always have a great education which hit Arnette hard especially knowing that Peppers had an injury last season and wasn’t able to play and knowing that could help him towards Michigan.
There is only two more weekends left for recruits to visit before national signing day for football is February 4, 2015.
Michigan currently has six recruits at this time with Brian Cole (WR/S), Alex Malzone (QB) already on campus along with Andrew David (K), Tyree Kinnel (DB), Grant Newsome (OL), and Jon Runyan Jr. (OL). There have been rumors of a possible commit during the basketball game Saturday night, but seems to be more wishful thinking than anything else at this time or a recruiting site trying to get the edge on everybody else.
The Wolverines are expected to try and land around 15 recruits before signing day. So these next couple of weeks are very important to the Michigan Wolverine program along with Jim Harbaugh start as head coach at Michigan.
