Michigan Wolverine Recruiting: Shelton Johnson Offered by Harbaugh
Shelton Johnson is from Delray Beach, Florida and plays at Atlantic high school who was recently offered by the Michigan coaching staff D.J. Durkin and Jim Harbaugh. He is currently on his visit at Ann Arbor, Michigan and will be interesting to see how his visit finishes out today, but seemed to have a pretty good time at the basketball game last night where the Michigan basketball team squeaked out a win against Northwestern in front of all the Michigan football coaches and recruits including Jim Harbaugh going up into the student section which was well received by the Maize Rage.

Johnson is rumored down to four teams it seems with Michigan, Florida State, Miami (FL), and Virginia Tech. He has over ten offers with the likes of the above mentioned teams along with North Carolina State, Minnesota, Kentucky, and Illinois.
He is listed between a 3-4 star by the recruiting services at listed 6’5, but not sure that is accurate by the recent photos of him inside the Michigan locker room unless Chris Clark isn’t his accurate height at 6’6 because Johnson looks to be a inch or so taller than Clark by the Photo shown below.
Bio:
Height: 6’5
Weight: 225
Style: Defensive End
Rankings: 3-4 star
Might be tough getting him out of the south especially out of Florida, but anything can happen when a recruit visits this late in the recruiting process and comes away impressed. The bad part is he is expected to visit Florida State next weekend and we are sure he will probably add another visit on the final recruiting weekend before signing day since he only has taken visits to Virginia Tech and Michigan so far and a recruit is allowed to take five official visits.

Jones, if he takes any more visits will still have two remaining since he took visits to UCF, Nebraska, and Michigan State.
After today there is only two more weekends left to visit before national signing day for football is February 4, 2015.
Michigan currently has six recruits at this time with Brian Cole (WR/S), Alex Malzone (QB) already on campus along with Andrew David (K), Tyree Kinnel (DB), Grant Newsome (OL), and Jon Runyan Jr. (OL). There have been rumors of a possible commit during the basketball game Saturday night, but seems to be more wishful thinking than anything else at this time or a recruiting site trying to get the edge on everybody else.
The Wolverines are expected to try and land around 15 recruits before signing day. So these next couple of weeks are very important to the Michigan Wolverine program along with Jim Harbaugh start as head coach at Michigan.
