He is a 2016 recruit at currently 6’4, 240lbs., who already has over twenty offers such as Miami (FL), Michigan State, Oregon, Penn State, and Wisconsin just to name a few schools.

Bio:

Weight: 240
Style: Defensive Line (DE)
Rankings: 4-star

Kareem talked about the changes at Michigan with Rivals: “I kinds of knew the offer was coming, but it was good today to get it,” Kareem said. “I think it’s going to be a good situation. Sometimes there is a need for change, and I just really want to see what he does in his first year and what changes with the program.”

“Growing up I was really neutral, just because we are equal distance from each school,” Kareem said. “I didn’t really pick a side, but always kept track of Michigan and Michigan State when I was younger.”

Look for his name on our radar as well as the Michigan coaching staffs. As he mentioned this upcoming season could be a huge year for Michigan if they can show recruits that they are turning things around along with the pedigree of coaches that Michigan is bringing in to get the job done.

There is only three more weekends left for the 2015 recruiting class to visit before national signing day for football is February 4, 2015. We are sure after signing day that Khalid Kareem’s name will get a lot more attention throughout the country once more schools start looking at the 2016 recruiting class.

Michigan currently has six recruits committed to the Michigan football program for the 2015 recruiting class at this time with Brian Cole (WR/S), Alex Malzone (QB) already on campus along with Andrew David (K), Tyree Kinnel (DB), Grant Newsome (OL), and Jon Runyan Jr. (OL).

The Wolverines are expected to try and land between 15-18 recruits before signing day. So these next couple of weeks are very important to the Michigan Wolverine program along with Jim Harbaugh start as head coach at Michigan.
