Michigan guard Niimari Burnett announced via his Instagram that he would return to the Wolverines for his final season. Dusty May will have his veteran guard on the court once again to help lead what will look like a different lineup for the Wolverines next season. Burnett seems determined to finish the job next season, as he uttered just four words that should send Michigan fans through the roof.

Burnett returning to Michigan is huge news, not just for the Wolverines but for the Big Ten as a whole. The Chicago, Illinois native averaged 9.4 points per game this past season, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. However, she shot 47.6% from the floor and 40% from deep range, making it a hassle to try and defend.

Fans are ecstatic that not only will Michigan have a fantastic lineup next season, but that Burnett will be back to help lead the way.

This shot will go down as one of the best and most clutch shots in Michigan basketball history. When you look up Namari Burnett, this should be the first thing that pops up.

What an insane image to post. Burnett was crucial for Michigan this season, and he is ready to finish the job next season.

Burnett seemed to be a fan favorite, especially after making that shot against Maryland to win the game for the Wolverines.

There was some concern over whether or not Bunrett could stay healthy, but he has certainly proven in his two seasons at Michigan that he can, and when he is healthy, he is a problem to deal with on the court. With so many new players coming into the program, Burnett's experience and leadership could really set this team apart in the Big Ten.
