The future of the Michigan football offensive line continues to look bright in Ann Arbor as the Wolverines secured yet another commitment. Bear McWhorter, standing at 6-foot-3.5 and 293 pounds, chose the Wolverines over Alabama and more. This recruitment was expected to go anyway but in the Wolverines' favor, at least according to every major recruiting site.

This recruitment doesn't just mean Michigan football will have sustained success for the future. It marks a change of the Tide per se. This is the second recruitment in months the Wolverines have stolen from the Crimson Tide, with 5-Star Ty Haywood being the first. Bear previously had a crystal ball prediction to 'Bama.

Not only do I believe this continues to show the dynasty is dead, but it also marks the start of a new perennial title contender nationally. Of course, Michigan has always been at the top of college football, but I don't expect the title drought to last 26 years this time around. Michigan football has been dominating on the recruiting trail as of late, particularly stealing recruits that would otherwise be heading south.

Overall, I think this recruitment goes to show that Sherrone Moore is not afraid to compete with the other big dogs. He may, in fact, just be Michigan's greatest recruiter in history as far as the rankings would show. Of course, it's far too early to tell, but what we do have is a loaded 2025 class and a 2026 class that couldn't be off to a better start.
