So far, a total of nine former Michigan football players have been given an opportunity to play in the NFL.
After not having any players selected in the first round for the first time in seven drafts, Michigan had six selected over the second and third days of the 2026 NFL draft, ending with Rayshaun Benny being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the seventh round.
Benny joined Max Bredeson, who the Vikings selected, and Jimmy Rolder, who went to the Lions, as day-three draft picks for the Michigan football program. Three Wolverines were also drafted on day two, as Derrick Moore (Detroit Lions), Marin Klein (Houston Texans) and Jaishawn Barham (Cowboys) all came off the board.

Three former Wolverines have signed as undrafted free agents following the 2026 NFL draft. Two of them landed with coaches who have ties to Michigan football.
TJ Guy, an EDGE, who probably would have been drafted if he had left school a year ago, was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent. This will reunite Guy with former defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, who is now the Ravens' head coach.
Kicker Dominic Zvada, who was stellar in 2024 but struggled a bit in 2025, found a perfect home, too. He signed with the New York Giants, where he will play under John Harbaugh, who is the brother of former Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh.
John Harbaugh also knows a thing or two about special teams and kickers. The Giants might have landed a starting kicker in Zvada, especially if he can regain his form from 2024.
Lastly, Donaven McCulley signed with the Miami Dolphins. The former Indiana transfer caught 39 passes for 588 yards and three touchdowns in his only season with Michigan.
