Michigan vs. Arizona is what the NCAA Tournament is all about. The best vs the best. A Battle of Titans. The immovable object against the irresistible force. Two teams that have hovered around the top five most of the season will finally meet in Indianapolis for the right to play for a national championship.
And everyone that loves college basketball or sports in general is eagerly awaiting this one.Â
If both teams play to their peaks, Arizona vs. Michigan on a Final Four stage has the potential to be one of the best games of the decade.

Also marks just the fifth time ever two teams met in the F4 with 35+ wins.
Let the hype begin.
The Cinderella stories are nice. We all love a good upset or two in the national tournament to shake the system up. But when it gets down to the Elite Eight, the Final Four and the national championship game, we want to see the best that college basketball has to offer.
Michigan vs. Arizona feels like the main event of the college basketball season
Arizona started the season at No. 13 in the top 25 polls, but the Wildcats were in the top five by the middle of November and spent 17 consecutive weeks at No. 1. There's no question that Arizona has been the best or second-best team in the country all season long and the two Wildcat losses were by a total of seven points.
The Wolverines opened the season inside the top ten, but didn't crack the top five until they beat Auburn and Gonzaga to win the Players Era Festival Tournament during Thanksgiving week. From there, Michigan has been a top three team most of the season with a couple of weeks at No. 1, before losing to Duke. But after a dominant performance against Tennessee in the Elite Eight, the Wolverines look like the best team in the country.
Simply put. This is the game of the tournament.
Media and fan excitement for Michigan-Arizona semifinal is high
There are big tournament games and then there are BIG games. This feels like it's going to be something special.Â
Michigan makes the extra pass after they make the extra pass. And then they often pass again. They lead Tennessee 48-26 at halftime. Start the hype for No. 1 Michigan and No. 1 Arizona on Saturday night in Indy -- one of most anticipated Final Four games in a long time.

As of right now, Illinois/Michigan in late Feb is the highest pregame KenPom Thrill Score of all-time (since 2011).

Michigan/Arizona will almost certainly shatter that record by a substantial margin, and possibly may take years to be surpassed. https://t.co/uwCDWceYDS
You know it's the biggest game when the casual fans, the media types and the number crunchers are all hyped up. We're just six days away from greatness. Can't wait!
