After serving his two-game suspension, Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was finally back on the sidelines with his team as the Wolverines hosted the Wisconsin Badgers.
His return to coaching and his homecoming at the Big House were filled with all of the emotions imaginable, and the second-year head coach didn't shy away from sharing just how excited he was.
"It means everything, it's like Christmas morning," Moore said before the game. "I just opened up the best present in the world, let's go let it rip."
Since taking over the program in 2024, the journey hasn't been all smooth sailing for Moore and the Wolverines, especially as he tried to fill the shoes of National Championship-winning head coach Jim Harbaugh.
However, this year has started pretty ideally, Michigan going 3-1 to start the season and 1-0 in Big Ten play, with a win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
A lot of the success has come from true-freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood, who quickly became a crucial piece of the Wolverines' roster despite being just 18 years old.

Moore served his two-week suspension over Michigan's third and fourth games of the season, matchups the Wolverines won over Central Michigan and Nebraska. Before his suspension started, he led the team to a win over the New Mexico Lobos to start the year and oversaw the loss to the Oklahoma Sooners in Week 2.
Over the last season and a quarter (just about), Moore has led the Wolverines to a 9-6 overall record, including a low-scoring win over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl. Before he ever became the official head coach, he served as the interim HC when Harbaugh served his NCAA suspension during the 2023 season.
As the interim head coach, Moore famously led the Wolverines to wins over Bowling Green, Penn State, Maryland, and Ohio State.
