1. The National Championship triumph

Some will say that the Rose Bowl win over Alabama was more mythical because of all of the pageantry and tradition. Beating the goliath that is the SEC is a mountain to climb itself, but nothing is higher then a national championship. That day felt a certain way for some in the maize and blue.

Washington's offense was coming-of-age under Kalen DeBoer. They were lighting up scoreboards until they ran into Michigan's defense. Michael Penix was Heisman-esque at Washington, but not on Monday, January 8th. He, along with the rest of the world had succumbed to the wrath of the Wolverines.

Donovan Edwards put Washington's defense on skates with two game-breaking runs that gave Michigan the upper hand. He warmed things up for Blake Corum to finish the business. Corum proudly obliged.

The Huskies got within a score until the fourth quarter when Corum capped his legendary career with two more touchdowns. Mikey Sainristil just about sealed it with a pick six and the coronation was complete. Michigan finest moment of 2024 was manifested.
