3. The Bryce Underwood flip

Rumors were swirling leading up to the Northwestern game that Underwood was wavering on his commitment to LSU. Then two days before that meeting, Underwood made it official and flipped to the maize and blue. It was like winning the recruiting national championship.

Underwood will step on campus to try and surpass what J.J. McCarthy did and rewrite the record books. As excited as everyone is to see him, the expectancy around him may be more elevated than any other prospect coming out of high school in Michigan football history.

The effects of his flip helped Michigan football win out and sign a top-10 class and gain a top-five haul in the transfer portal. He's got a new offensive coordinator to work with and a bridge quarterback who can teach him the ropes. With Underwood in the fold, Michigan will expect to win it all again. Anything else will not be accepted.
