Yesterday was a wake up call for Michigan football but don't hit the panic button yet
The loss vs Texas was not pretty. However, it is not time to panic just yet. Multiple areas need to be corrected but there is reason to believe this team can still rattle off some big wins this year.
Special Teams
It has to be said that Dominic Zvada is an absolute stud. He was two for two on field goals including a 52 yarder. He is going to be a crucial piece this year with the offense struggling to score points.
Final thoughts
There is a ton to work on for this team and luckily this was a nonconference loss so this team still has everything in front of them. Michigan football plays Arkansas State this week which hopefully will inject some confidence back into this team before we open Big Ten play against USC.
The coaching staff needs to make adjustments and the players need to be better and that starts by limiting mistakes. The season is long and we have a lot of time. Do not panic yet but the improvement needs to start happening now.
