We are one week away from Michigan football taking on Alabama in the Rose Bowl. That game has been talked about plenty and the analysis will only ramp up this week.

But even though it's officially game week for Michigan football, since it's also Christmas, we wanted to take the opportunity to put together another Christmas wishlist for the Wolverines.

Some years, it can be difficult to decide what you want for Christmas. But if you're a Michigan football fan, here are the three items that should top your list.

3. A Jim Harbaugh contract extension

This one has been on the Christmas list for a few years. It was reported on Sunday that Michigan football has offered Harbaugh a 10-year, $125 million contract, as long as he agrees not to flirt with the NFL in the 2024 offseason.

However, Harbaugh still hasn't signed the deal and with it being game week, as we said, I don't see it happening this week either. The focus needs to be on Alabama and with Harbaugh, it will be.

Harbaugh has talked about wanting to win a Super Bowl. This would be the next closest thing and I'd argue, just as impressive an achievement to do it at Michigan.

If the Wolverines do win their next two games, it could be thing that finally pushes Jim out the door, since he will have reached the Mountaintop. But we can still dream that he will remain the Michigan football head coach for the rest of his career.
