Semaj Morgan came to Michigan football in 2023 and earned playing time during his freshman season. To appear in 15 games for a team loaded with veteran talent speaks volumes about a player's work ethic and skill set. Winning a national championship during your first year on campus for a team that went undefeated is a rare occurrence. Morgan made some highlight reel plays in his first season. His first collegiate catch went for 35 yards versus UNLV; he also broke a run for 44 yards and a touchdown versus Purdue.
