The Michigan basketball program will honor several seniors on Sunday as the Michigan Wolverines will host the Nebraska Cornhuskers to close out the regular season.

It's been a forgettable season for Michigan basketball. The Michigan Wolverines are 8-22 on the season and 3-16 in the Big Ten. They are locked into 14th place and the lowest seed in the Big Ten tournament. They are also a 5.5-point underdog on Sunday according to DraftKings.

Williams, Nimari Burnett, and Jaelin Llewellyn will be honored. Tip-off is set for 12 PM EST on the Big Ten Network. Nebraska is battling for an NCAA tournament berth. With a win the Huskers get a double bye, which will pulling off an upset even more challenging, even at home, although Nebraska has won just two games on the road this season.

Michigan hockey knocks off Notre Dame

The Michigan Wolverines hockey team is attempting to defend its Big Ten Tournament championship and advanced to the semifinals after a 4-3 win over Notre Dame, which clinched a 2-0 sweep over the Fighting Irish and a berth in the semifinals.

T.J. Hughes scored twice in the first period but Notre Dame was able to take a 3-2 lead. It was the second straight game that the Irish led late in the second period. However, Dylan Duke evened the score with just under 11 minutes left in the second. Gavin Brindley found the back of the net in the third and the Michigan Wolverines held on for the 4-3 win.

Michigan hockey is still alive for the Big Ten's automatic berth in the NCAA tournament, but a third straight win over Notre Dame should help their resume. Michigan State is likely up next for U-M.
