Michigan football lost a ton of talent to the NFL. There's no debate about that. But the Wolverines still have some elite players and the Lindy's College Football Preview Magazine is a reminder of that.

Lindy's projects Michigan football to have more first-team All-Americans than any other team in college football. Other programs had more overall All-Americans, but the Michigan Wolverines led the way in terms of first-team selections.

It's just the preseason but Will Johnson, Mason Graham, Colston Loveland have a good chance of making it. Some others like Donovan Edwards and Kenneth Grant might be able to make a case during the season too to be All-Americans. The Michigan Wolverines have plenty of talent and every team has question marks. Michigan's is at quarterback but if they can figure that out, this team can absolutely win another Big Ten chamionship.

Former Michigan Wolverines standout signs massive contract extension

Former Michigan football wide receiver Nico Collins has had a stellar start to his NFL career and following a season that saw him catch 80 passes for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns, the Houston Texans rewarded him with a three-year deal worth $72 million.

It's awesome to see another former Michigan football player cashing in. Collins was probably under utilized during his time with the Michigan Wolverines but it is what it is. It's been fun watching him kill it in the NFL. He's even found a way to make former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud look good.

Nimari Burnett return to Michigan Wolverines is official

It was expected but Michigan basketball player Nimari Burnett withdrew his name from the 2024 NBA draft which means he will return to the Wolverines this season.

This was widely expected but it's now official. Dusty May has 12 of his 13 roster spots accounted for. Another transfer portal addition is possible but for the most part, the Wolverines are who they are at this point.
