Michigan football vs. Washington: Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 6
Michigan football and Washington will do battle Saturday night in a national championship game rematch. However, things will feel a lot different than they did last January.
Both teams have new head coaches. Both teams have new starting quarterbacks and both squads have been a little shaky so far this season.
Michigan football is 4-1 with a loss to Texas, which looks like one of the best teams in college football. The Wolverines beat No. 11 USC, but also struggled with Minnesota and Fresno State. Washington is 3-2 with losses to Rutgers last week and Washington State.
Jedd Fisch is the head coach for Huskies and he's a former Michigan football staffer. Will Rogers, the quarterback, is the SEC's All-Time leader in passing yards after four seasons as Mississippi State.
It's the first road game of the season for Michigan football and here's all the key info such as the odds, our prediction, and how to watch.
Michigan football vs. Washington Odds
According to DraftKings, Michigan football is a three-point underdog for Saturday night's game. The over/under is 41 and the moneyline is +120 for the Wolverines and -142 for Washington.

Michigan football vs. Washington players to watch
Michigan: Donovan Edwards
Washington fans remember the long touchdown runs Edwards had in the national championship game. Those plays set the tone and it feels like the Wolverines are going to need a big play from Edwards to escape Seattle with a win.
Kalel Mullings can only do so much. He'll probably have another 100-yard game, but Michigan football has to get Alex Orji going and throwing the ball to Edwards, plus using him in motion and getting creative -- something the Wolverines seemingly refuse to do -- is a great way to create explosive plays.
Hopefully, Sherrone Moore and Kirk Campbell will get their heads out of the sand and starting using Edwards as the versatile weapon that he is.
Washington: Will Rogers
Quarterback Will Rogers has been incredible for the Huskies this season completing 74.8 percent of his passes, averaging 9.2 yards per attempt and throwing 10 touchdown passes compared to zero interceptions.
If Michigan had a quarterback like that, the Wolverines might be a viable national title contender. Yet, the Huskies have still dropped two games because they are 89th in scoring offense despite averaging 469 yards per game of total offense.
Former Michigan football player Giles Jackson had 34 receptions for 401 yards. Denzel Boston also has over 400 yards receiving and running back Jonah Coleman has 521 rushing yards (over 100 per game).
The Michigan defense will be tested and the offense has to find a way to keep up.
Michigan vs. Washington prediction
Washington has allowed seven sacks in five games. They also gave up 188 rushing yards to Rutgers. Despite ranking 12th in scoring defense when Rutgers is maybe the best offense you have faced, that doesn't mean a whole lot.
The offensive line couldn't block Michigan in the national title game and I don't think it will on Saturday night. I also don't know if Michigan can score 20 points. The staff has to get creative. It has to do a better job of using Alex Orji in the run game and finding a way to create some explosive plays.
Washington is a flawed team though. I think the defense will make it tough on Will Rogers, who throws at least one interception. Maybe Will Johnson gets another pick-6. He might need to, but I think the defensive line and running game of Michigan win out, just like in the national title game.
Prediction: Michigan 19, Washington 14
