Michigan football vs. Texas football

Overall record: 0-1
First meeting: 1/1/2005
Last meeting: 1/1/2005
Last score: 38-37, Texas

Michigan and Texas met for the first and only time so far in the Rose Bowl back in 2005. These teams are set to meet in the upcoming 2024 season where Michigan can get the chance to even the series.

The Rose Bowl matchup between Michigan and Texas was a thriller that came down to the final seconds of the game. The Wolverines went 9-2 that season and quarterback Chad Henned had an amazing season. He threw for over 220 yards and four touchdowns, but it wasn't enough for Michigan to get the win.

Texas was able to drive the ball down the field on their last drive of the game and kicked a field goal with two seconds remaining on the clock.

The matchup between Michigan and Texas this season should be a thriller with Texas moving to the SEC and Michigan coming off their National Championship win with a new coach and a new lineup.
