Football is in the air as the Big Ten media days are underway in the home of the Big Ten championship. Michigan football will be well represented on Thursday as they get ready to open up camp next week. The bright lights will shine on coach Sherrone Moore as he begins his program's defense of a potential fourth straight Big Ten championship.

The number one question asked on Thursday should be about the quarterback competition. The media will be searching for answers about it from both coach Moore and his players. Getting a definitive answer is about as likely as me becoming the next starting quarterback for Michigan football, meaning it will likely linger all the way up to August 31st on the first snap.

It would be a revelation if coach Moore gave some insight about the competition, mainly naming a starter this early. Most coaches put in that position are awfully quiet about their most important role on the field. Kirk Campbell mentioned that they have been "outstanding," but diehards will be eager to hear more then that.

Some involved in the media who still have an agenda from last season will be asking about the sign-stealing investigations. It would be shocking if someone didn't bring it up or even mention the upcoming documentary about Connor Stallions. They already brought it up to the commissioner on Tuesday when he was on the podium.

Ohio State players have been speaking out on the rivalry and how they want to beat Michigan football so badly. Coach Moore and his players will get to respond to that and add fuel to the fire that is burning so vividly.

Recapping last season's elusive championship will also be part of the discussion as well. Memories and stories will be shared by all in attendance when they sit down with Dave Revsine of the Big Ten network. I would also expect coach Moore to be asked about how he felt when he was in coach Harbaugh's shoes for the games that he was for suspended for last season.

Donovan Edwards will be a popular figure in Indy too, because of his vibrant aura and being on the cover of the first video game in a decade. He should have a lot to talk about with what has gone on in his life over the last year alone.

Getting an update about Rod Moore should be a priority as there has been speculation about him returning midway through the season.

There were reports that he was ahead of schedule which is what Michigan football fans want to hear. Other position battles should be discussed like the offensive line and secondary and coach Moore's new staff could be a topic of conversation as well. Plus providing a little information about how the freshmen are developing, specifically Jadyn Davis, would be tantalizing.
