Michigan football: Big House underrated by EA Sports College Football
The EA Sports College Football 25 video game is coming out soon and on Tuesday, EA Sports released a list of the most difficult places to play on the game which is set to release next month.
Over the years, the Big House has gotten a reputation for not being as loud as it should be with over 100,000 fans. That reputation is one reason why the home stadium of Michigan football, the Big House, ended up rankined 16th.
The Big House gets underrated
Yet, three Big Ten teams were included in the top 10. Ohio State was ranked No. 4. Next was Penn State at No. 6 and also Wisconsin at No. 7. Those are tough places to play. Don't get me wrong. But Michigan football has won in each of those stadiums in the past three seasons.
I think Ohio State and Penn State deserve to be in the top 10 but the Big House should be ranked higher than Camp Randall.
The Wolverines have put together three straight undefeated seasons at home. Outside of the COVID season, Michigan didn't lose a game there other than against Ohio State and Michigan State in the Harbaugh era.
According to one message board, Michigan football has had 11 undefeated seasons at home since the last time Texas A&M went undefeated at home and Kyle Field was No. 1 in the rankings.
For the most part, the list is pretty good. It's hard to disagree with any of the other schools in the top 10. It just feels like the Big House should be included especially since some renovations have made it much louder.
