Michigan Football: 3 overreactions to the Washington loss

Michigan's west coast regular season road curse continues. They haven't won a game over there outside of the Rose Bowl in decades.

There were some pros and cons to Michigan's loss on Saturday in Seattle. The offense may have found its most competent quarterback, but turnovers remain an issue. The defense got to Will Rogers, but he torched them through the air. Now they'll have to flip the script and focus on what's next to salvage the season.

Here are three of the most outrageous overreactions from the Washington defeat.

1. Evan Link is the worst starting tackle in college football

Tweets like this one usually come on a play when Link would give up a sack or tackle for loss. Link is still a sophomore making his first start on the road and has had his moments, albeit they are rare. What I would question would be how bad is Andrew Gentry or Jeffrey Persi, who played for the injured Myles Hinton on the left side. Both of whom were projected to start ahead of Link before the season opened.

That makes this an overreaction because it was tweeted out of pure rage. Most people who post things like this are seeking attention and don't know much about the details of the game. For those keeping score at home Link and his line mates only allowed one sack and ran it for 175 yards in the loss. There's no doubt in my mind that Link will be a star one day, if he stays the course.
