3. Bryce Drew Grand Canyon, West Region

Drew wouldn't be the first name out of the west. It would certainly be Nate Oats from Alabama, but he just signed that extension with his name being rumored to Michigan. As for Drew, he has done wonders at Grand Canyon, but had his shot in the big leagues of the SEC and failed miserably at Vanderbilt. He basically had three losing seasons there and built the Antelopes from nothing to their third appearance in March.

As for his brother Scott, he is remaining at Baylor. He was being mentioned with the Louisville opening, but closed the door on those rumors. Louisville and Michigan are undoubtedly the two most coveted openings and may be fighting for the same coaches. So Warde Manuel cannot get left behind in the race of this search if the Cardinals strike first.

Other guys in the west that have been talked about are Grand Canyon's opponent, Randy Bennett from St. Mary's, who has been a mainstay there for over 20 years and may never leave. Anthony Grant at Dayton who flopped at Alabama and had his best team miss the tourney because it was cancelled due to covid.
