The defending National Champion Michigan Wolverines are looking to go back-to-back this season. But, there's a new offensive line, new running back, new head coach and new quarterback for the Wolverines.

Still, there is a boatload of talent in Ann Arbor, led by Donovan Edwards and an incredibly stout defense. Michigan will be an absolute force to be reckoned with.

Which is why you don't want to miss a game.

Special Considerations for College Football Streaming

Blackout Restrictions

  • Blackout restrictions occur when a certain broadcast has been sold to a particular network or region by the league or rightsholder. These are used to protect the party that owns the rights to the broadcast, and to encourage users to seek out their broadcast.
  • It is rare for blackout restrictions to pop up during college football season, however, a VPN would allow someone to circumvent any restrictions by changing their IP address.

International Viewing

  • International college football fans would be well served to sign up for a VPN. With a VPN, their IP address could be changed on the fly, allowing them to sign up for any US streaming service.
  • We won't promote any particular VPN here, but there are dozens of options.

Free Trials and Promotions

  • FuboTV offers a weeklong free trial to new users. YouTube TV has an offer for new users allowing them to save $30 for their first three months. Hulu's free trial is just 72 hours.
  • To get the most bang for your buck, we'd recommend signing up for FuboTV during Week Zero, allowing you to get two week's worth of games during the free trial period.
