Wisconsin finished third in the Big Ten West division in 2023 with a 7-6 record. The Badgers managed not to lose many pieces to the draft other than running back Braelon Allen who became the youngest player ever drafted to the NFL.

The Badgers looked like they would only lose five players to the draft until cornerback Michael Mack entered at the last minute the last day the portal was open bringing their total to six players.

However, Wisconsin managed to bring in two players from the portal which helps matter at least a bit. However, Wisconsin was already looking like a solid team coming into 2024 which is why they are higher on this ranking.
