When the EA Sports College Football 25 video game came out, some key Michigan football players were missing.

This wasn't a huge surprise. Not every player was going to opt into the game. Other players, such as freshmen or transfers were also missing.

It wasn't clear with some Michigan football players whether it was a matter of choice or just timing. However, with the college football season here -- Week 1 is going on Thursday night -- EA Sports updated the rosters for 'College Football 25' and 13 Wolverines were added, including some starters.

Jyaire Hill was added in the secondary. He's emerged as a starter at cornerback and will play a key role for Michigan football this season and into the future since he's just a sophomore.

Giovanni El-Hadi was another key player missing for Michigan football. The starting guard is expected to be an All-Big Ten player tihs season (by me) and I was pining for his presence on the offensive line.

In addition to some starters being added, some spring transfer pickups joined the roster too as Amorion Walker, CJ Charleston, Aamar Hall, and Wesley Walker are now on the Michigan football roster in the video game.

So are some key freshman such as four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, who was one of the top signees for Michigan football in the 2024 class. Jordan Marshall, a top-100 running back was also added, along with 6-foot-8 Andrew Sprauge, another highly-touted recruited.
