After playing EA Sports College Football 25, here are some thoughts as a Michigan football fan.

Dono is a dynamic pass catcher

One of the best parts about playing Michigan football on EA Sports College Football 25 is the fact that I can feed Donovan Edwards the ball in the passing game.

There are few linebackers/safeties who can cover Edwards 1-on-1. He's a great route-runner, and last season, his skill set as a wide receiver was underutilized. I still don't quite understand it, but make no mistake, I'm throwing Edwards the ball a lot.

Not only does he have great hands, but if you get him out in open space, Edwards is a nightmare for defenses. That's as true in College Football 25 as it is in real life. It didn't take me long to rip off some long touchdown runs similar to the ones Michigan football fans saw Edwards have against Ohio State, Penn State, and Washington in the national championship game.

There are plenty of reasons to buy the game but playing as Donovan Edwards is one of the biggest. He gets at least 20 carries in every game I play. Hell, I barely throw the ball and that might be what we see out of Michigan this season.

Why throw if you don't have to?
