Michigan football starts the season in less than three weeks and here's what we have learned from fall camp so far.

The offensive line is still a strength

As everyone went to the spread and throwing the ball more, Michigan football invested more in the trenches, and it worked to the tune of three straight Big Ten titles and a national championship.

The Wolverines don't have J.J. McCarthy anymore, but they have what I would argue is the best defensive line in college football and the offensive line won't be far behind.

Michigan football won the Joe Moore Award in 2021 and 2022. The offensive line in 2023, despite dealing with some injuries, was also elite.

But this unit won't drop off. Giovanni El-Hadi is going to be an All-Big Ten performer. He was one of the top-ranked signees in the 2021 class for the Wolverines and has been biding his time. Josh Priebe and El-Hadi might be the best guard tandem in the Big Ten when the season is over.

Greg Crippen or Raheem Anderson will do just fine. They have each waited their turn too. Myles Hinton has first-round pick potential and played a ton last season. The other spot at right tackle is the only question and the Wolverines have Andrew Gentry, Jeff Persi and emerging redshirt freshman Evan Link to choose from.

Early on in camp, Link has been generating buzz as one of the best offensive tackles and he could be a surprise starter this season for Michigan football. Either way, I wouldn't trade this offensive line for any other in the Big Ten.
