Donovan Edwards finally delivers a big play

To say that Donovan Edwards has been a disappointment so far this season is an understatement. The College Football 25 cover athlete has 68 rushing yards on 19 attempts and just two yards on three receptions.

Now, to be fair, the Michigan football staff has done a horrendous job of getting him the ball in space. The offensive line has also been terrible. But Edwards has also missed some big-play opportunties.

There was one run against Texas where it felt like he missed a lane and a shot an an explosive play, something we haven't seen from Edwards all season.

My bet is that we'll see more of Alex Orji in this game. If Michigan is going to use him, it needs to be for more than a play or two. I'd love to see Orji and Edwards on the field together more, and Mullings too.

At any rate, I think Orji's presence could help open up an explosive run for Edwards who I think finally hits one of those home run plays we have been waiting for on Saturday, either as a runner or as a receiver.
