Michigan football has to replace Mike Hart as running backs coach and here are four potential options for the Wolverines.

DeMarco Murray

I know this sounds crazy but it does make some sense. Sherrone Moore and DeMarco Murray were teammates at Oklahoma, so there is a connection between the former Dallas Cowboys running back and the Michigan Wolverines.

Murray took the job as Oklahoma running backs coach back in 2020 and remebering back, he did a great job recruiting Donovan Edwards. The Sooners were one of the other teams in the mix because of Murray.

It's hard to see him leaving his alma mater to coach running backs at Michigan though. Maybe if he was given a co-offensive coordinator title or something. I'm just not sure Hart's old title of run-game coordinator would be enough. Moore would likely offer a big raise and U-M did beat out the Sooners for general manager Sean Magee, but I have a hard time seeing this happen.

You can't blame us for dreaming though right? Murray's backs have had a ton of success and he would be an absolute star in Ann Arbor.
