3 things we need to see from Michigan football against Arkansas State

Through all the grief the defending champions have withstood in the first two weeks, a resounding win is number one on this week's list of things to achieve.

Homecoming is on Saturday and the way Michigan football has started the season, it looks anything like a gimme win. The only Michigan team that I want to see this weekend, is a pissed-off one.

Get better, stay healthy and play a clean game with no turnovers. Although it might be a moot point at this second, the most important thing to do is to find a quarterback who can compete with USC and beyond.

Here's three things that we need to see this Saturday from Michigan football in the Big House.

1. A Jack Tuttle appearance

For all the criticism that Davis Warren is inheriting, he's played admirably for a walk-on, but it's not enough. The program standard is too high for him. For as hard as it is to believe he was PFF's highest-rated offensive player for the Wolverines in the Texas loss. Alex Orji and Jadyn Davis are not options, therefore they will have to live and die with Warren or turn to Jack Tuttle.

Sherrone Moore has stated that Tuttle "looks ready to go." That's what some Michigan football fans want to hear after the first two weeks. By no means is he the next J.J. McCarthy, but he provides hope of more competent quarterback play. This is a perfect opportunity to get him some snaps and see if he can outplay Warren.

A quarter or so would suffice, or mix him in on certain plays like they do with Orji. He's got the experience and can't be any worse then Warren.
