3 reasons Michigan football will beat Washington in national title rematch

It's been a bumpy road so far for Michigan football this season but here are three reasons why the Wolverines will beat Washington on Saturday.

Another big game from Kalel Mullings

Washington is allowing 3.6 yards per rushing attempt so far this season but Rutgers had over 180 yards against the Huskies and averaged nearly six yards per attempt.

Michigan football can and will run the ball on the Huskies. Mullings is Michigan's best offense right now, but my hope is that the coaches use Donovan Edwards and Mullings on the field at the same time more. It can open things for both of them as runners and receivers.

Alex Orji also has to get involved in the run game. It's baffling but the coaching staff isn't calling QB runs for a running quarterback. It will help him and it will help the passing game. Kirk Campbell said he knows the offense needs explosive plays from the passing game and running the quarterback, then forcing teams to stop a running quarterback, can create some of those opportunities.
