The NCAA Football 2025 video game is coming out this summer so let's have some fun and look at a hypothetical matchup between the last Michigan team to be in the game vs the projected team for the upcoming game.

Running back: Fitzgerald Toussaint, Derrick Green vs Donovan Edwards, Kalel Mullings

Fitzgerald Toussaint, Derrick Green vs Donovan Edwards, Kalel Mullings. Fitz Toussaint was a beast and ran with a mentality that I absolutely loved. He combined that with an explosiveness that enabled him to break big plays. Derrick Green never lived up to the hype coming out of high school but he was a solid number two.

However, this matchup without a doubt goes to the 2024 team. Edwards and Mullings are going to be one of the best duos in the Big Ten this year. Edwards is one of the best running backs in all of college football and Mullings continues to get better and better as he gets more comfortable on the offensive side of the ball.

Edwards is probably the best pass-catching running back in college football. I imagine he will be utilized often in the passing game next season.
